“Do Not Stand at My Grave and Weep” is poem by Mary Elizabeth Frye. This poem is the message from person who death. He does not want people that he loves and still alive feel sad with his death.

I think that I feel depress and sorry with this situation. The death hurt everybody and it changes everything. Even the man in poem try to make people does not cry at his grave, and he said that he still there. I also feel grim with the death. In my opinion, this man is really kindly.
He cares people behind him.

I also feel frightened with the loss. And, of course, nobody can getaway this situation. This fear emotion comes to my mind.

Dear Dad and Mom;

As you know that I want to marry my boyfriend. I know you want me to get the best thing in my life. I know you love me so much and I also love you too. But he is a good man and he really loves me. I convince that he will never make you and I disappoint with him.

You may think that he is too young for me. However, he got a really good job as an engineer in big company. He already planed our future together. He has a good background. And, of course, the most important thing is we love each other.

May I marry with this guy, please ?

Journal #16: Confucius Quote

"Find a job that you love doing and you will never have to work a day in your life." This quote means that people should do job that they really want and love to do because they will not bore and happy with the job. They will feel like they never have to work a day in their life. I completely agree with this quote. When I am forced or have to work or to do something that I don’t like, I found that that job really hard and I could not do it well enough.

I thing not many people have much opportunities to work in a job their love so person who is working in a job that they love is lucky.

I love business and my major is accounting. I think it is good to apply my knowledge with the kind of job that I love; therefore my magic job is an auditor.

Katie Rossomano(2008, October 29). Sexism in the 'World of Warcraft'. Daily Titan, p. 4.

Katies stated in this article that there is the inequality between male and female from real world to World of Warcraft game online. (par.1) Katies argument that many women play game by using male character because woman characters are obvious set to sexy. (par.7) This is a claim of Cause which appeals to Pathos or emotion with this bias of sexism. Katies also claimed that in the world of warcraft society, people who play female characters are “G.I.R.L.s”( guys in real life).(par 16). This is because of a harassment on this online game. (par.13) However Blizzard, the company that created WoW argue that it is not abide for harassment and sexism (par. 9).

Journal #13: Summary/Paraphrase Practice

U.S. infant mortality ranks lower

The death rate of baby in U.S. is not changing too much since 2000. The death rate was 6.86 per 1,000 live births. It’s almost the same as in 2005 which is 6.89 deaths per 1,000 births in 2000.
In 2004, death rate of baby in U.S. was 29th in the world, which dramatically drop from 1960 that it was 12th. The federal Centers for Disease Control and Prevention reported that 9 percent of the death rate came from the increment of baby who born too early and too little weight. This increment is the biggest cause of baby die. Furthermore, other treatment and prenatal steroids help these babies alive.
The gap between baby who born with black women and Cuban-Americans is fluctuate. The death rate baby who born from black women is higher than baby who born from Cuban-Americans 9.21 per 1,000 births. This means that socioeconomic status and health care did not conclude about the gap.

Journal #12: Research topic

Today our composition class learns about the topic question. My topic is “Internal Control” This topic interesting to me. After I learn about internal control in Wigipedia website, I found that it’s about concept of management which most company through out the world use. Good internal control helps company management succeed the goal. There is COSO framework which play important role with internal control. Committee of Sponsoring Organizations of the Treadway Commission (COSO) is an organization which major objective is to identify the factors that cause fraudulent financial reporting and to make recommendations to reduce its incidence.I think this topic is related to my major; therefore I want to know it deeply.

Anyway this topic is not easy to me to figure the research questions. I realize that I have to work hard for this topic (T___T). However after I did a research, finally I get my research question. My research question is “ What does COSO framework important to internal control?"

Journal #11: Advice

I rarely have too much problem in my life. When I have a problem, I always advise my father. I think because of he is the one who love me most. He listens to me all the time. He usually gives me the best solution and I also follow his suggestion.

However some problem, I needs my friend advice than my father such as my school problem. My best friends is good student, she always has her plan for study each semester. Sometime I cannot handle with my school life; she is the best advisor for me. She knows my weakness and she also suggest me that which class I should attend. I follow her advice all the time. (^______^). I think I might not graduate with high score without her. hahaha

I am a good listener when she has problem too. She always has a problem with her boyfriend. I did not give her much advice of this problem. I thing it is a problem between two people and they have to figure out problem by themselves. She just wants people who listen to her problem therefore she constantly talks to me when she needs someone to listen in her problem.

Journal #10: American Food

Let's go eat American”—I don’t know what does it mean and is it about American food or not. In my opinion it’s just a question that asks for going to eat American food.

When talking about American food, I know only hamburgers, hotdogs, potato ships and cheeses. American food is not varies like Thai food. I think because of most of American food usually has bread whereas rice is major of Thai food. However, both Thai and American cuisine can eat with many kind of soup.

In addition, American food, for me, has not much ingredients as Thai food too. For example most of Thai food is spicy whereas almost American food hardly has any spicy taste. Moreover there are lots of fat in American food too.
Actually, I like to eat cheese; therefore I always enjoy eating American food. Yet I don’t want to eat it everyday, it makes me obese. Overweight leads to many diseases too such as blood pressure, heart decease and diabetes.

We sometime see the difficulty in our life, people who think positively has more opportunity for this situation than people who don’t.

Of course, there are a lot of choices and opportunities in our life and each one certain difficulty. For example to get A in class, we have to study hard to reach the goal. We must have plan for everything. Many people tend to give up when the thing day do is too complicated.

I think to be optimistic is good to my life. It isn’t meaning that I will meet only good thing but I can manage everything easily. I always positive thinking when I meet stranger. I have to open my mind therefore I can have many friends. I can continue the relationship with my friend too.

Journal #8: My Best Friend & Me

I have many friends in Thailand, everybody is my best friend. They are really good friend. They alway give me their help or give me a good advice anytime when I have trouble in my life. However there is someone, her name is Airily, who is always beside me and always listen to me. I could also tell all of my secret to her. Actually we hardly have no secret of each other.

We were study in Business Administration facculty at Chiang Mai University, and our major was Accounting however we never talk to each other. I started talk with her when we were graduate and worked together.One thing that I knew about her when were at campus that she was a good student, and she was very neat. When I talked to her first time I found that she was neater than I think. (Oh!!)

When we were work at PriceWaterhouseCoopers, she always gave me ad advice about accounting standard and taught me how to work. Therefore, we are become best friend. She is the first person that I think of when I got trouble.

We love shopping but we brought different style. We also like to travel and go to night club together. We finally found that we like to go to temple and make a merit or charity. We believe that sharing and giving make us happy.

There are so many fantastic super humanpowers to choose from, and one thing I dreaming about that I am a invisible girl and I also could pass through solid objects. I think I could go to anywhere that I want for free. For example, taking flight to USA and also joining ALP class to improve my English skill (hihihi) or going to white house to see what is the inside look like and is there any secret which has been hidden?

To be invisible I could do everything that I want to do and do not have to care about what people thinking about me. I also could follow politician

or other celebrities because i want to know their daily lifestyle and want to know that how did

they do to become famous and success. Moreover i will follow my brother to know that he is skip his class or not.(Ha Ha Ha) ^____^

If I could invisible, I will not tell anybody except my family and I will not use it for my daily life. Becase I think tobe ordinary man is perfect by itself. It is not fair to use the superpower in the

wrong way because everybody has some selfish and biass for somting that they really need it.

However if there are any help, I will be there because I am a superwoman, Right? (lol)

Talking animal!!!!

Imagine that all animals in this world could talk to people. Everywhere in the world should be noisy with a lot of conversation of animals. It’s really busy. I just want to know that would people still kill and eat them or not? 555 I think many people become vegetarian. Then this world will have over population of human and animals.

However, I wish I could communicate with animal like Dr.Dolittle in movie. I would talk to my dog and help him before he died. I hope I could save his life if I know that he was sick.

"Saying I love you is not the words I want to hear from you" This is the beginning lyrics of my favorite song, More Than Words, this song is very popular as a romantic ballad. There are many cover version of this song since it has been released in 1990 rock band Extreme .It was first released before I was born.
I heard this song first time when My brother began to practice the guitar. He said that " This song is really good for beginner to start". I always stayed with him and sang this song when he played his guitar. I thought that the lyrics was not difficult for my to understand and it has a good meaning. The song itself asks the person to whom it is addressed to show love through "more than words." It's also my first foreign song that I could sing. I feels happy and I think of great time with my brother when I was a child every time that I heard this song.

The weather in Thailand is humid. The weather is high in both high temperature and moisture.The weather is high in both high temperature and moisture. There are three seasons which are Summer, Winter, and Rainny season. However, for the Northern of Thailand climatic circumstances are favored by Thais nationwide as the coolest and most comfortable.Actually I don't like sushine day, so I like rain season as it makes me feel wet, cool and relaxed. I feel cold and don't want to get up when it is rainning outside. Somebody thought that it is not convinience to go to anywhere but it is fine for me. I also good to stay at home with my family and sleep all day.

It is really difficult fo me to write journal about my old fear because I fear of supernatural thing. What do you think? Can you guess? I am scare of ghost which always disturbed my mind when I was young. I don't know why but i remembered that my counsin tried me to watched scary movies with him when I was a kid. Though there had cartoon about friendly ghost like Casper, I still think by myself that ghost was scary. It would came to see and injure me. To fear of ghost brought me do not want to be alone and afraid of darkness too. I slept with my parent until I graduated from high school. When I go to university, I had to stay at university's dormitory which for freshy. My father also told me that I should overcome my fear by change my thought to be logic. Moreover I needs to face the fear which is the best way to get rid of this problem Therefore, I got rid of nonsensical think and have more reasonable to figure ou the problem for example if my room become dark, I just turned on the light.Nowaday, I admit that I afraid of ghost sometime but it's not serious as formerly. I must alway compose myself all the tme.

Journal #2: Getting around

There are many way to get around here but the most convience transportation here is by private car. Due to i stay with my uncle here, he drives and picks me up at CSUF everyday. I also want to drive by myself therefore I need to have and driving license here. I tried to take a bus from CSUF to my hose at Cerritos last Friday, the bus transportation system here keep time excellent. I think, next time I will go to the school by the bus until I get the driving license.

The transportation system here quite different from my country, there are mass transportation a lot of in Bangkok(the capital is of Thailand) neither be subway, metro , bus , or taxi which get easy more here. Although there are many transportation in Thailand but it is still not be good system extremelly. We can not the estimate the time has in the travel in Bangkok because of the traffic is very densely.

Nice to meet all of you guy!!

My name is Pisutthida. It is quite a long name and difficult to call. You can call me 'Prissy'. I came from Thailand. I live in Chiang Mai.Chiang Mai is a big city in the north part of Thailand . It is about 700 kilometres from Bangkok. The city of Khon Kaen is the centre of communication in the upper. University of Chiang Mai is located here.

I graduated from Chiang Mai University with a degree in Accounting. I came CSUF to continue my study for Master Degree.

I live with my uncle at Cerritos which quit far from CSUF around 13 miles. It's take around 1 hours to take a bus and 2o minutes to drive here.

Today(Aug29,2008) is my second day that I attend ALP course. I've just has been in USA for 4 days so I still have jet lack. (-__-) I feel sleepy all the time. (lol) It's really suprise that I have to attend advance level because I think my english skill really poor. Maybe this is my lucky (or not), this advance level really challenge for me. (>__<) My hope now is to achieve Certified Public Accountant examination(CPA).
